Adoption Process: ALL potential parents MUST...
1) Fill out an adoption application (completely) Application is located on this website - Tab marked "Adoption - Process & Application" > Download, fill in by hand then return to us.
2) Have a vet reference (only if you currently own a pet or have had one in the last 5 years)
3) Have a home inspection (This is to make sure your environment is what is best for the pet)
4) Be in the state of Illinois (we do not adopt out-of-state)
No animal will be sent home with a potential 'parent' the same day as the request/application.
* All pets available for adoption includes: Spay/neuter, up-to-date shots; heartworm check & monthly preventative(dogs), Felv/FIV check (cats), deworming, monthly flea/tick prevention.

Age: 10 years old Breed: Lab Mix Description: Black/Grey/White Personality: Prince came to us from a hording situation. Prince loves to be on the couch - as that is what he was used to. It makes him feel safe/secure. You do have to ask Prince to go out to the bathroom. He does not have the want/desire to tell you when he has to go out. You also have to put him on a good schedule for feeding time & make sure he eats all his food. He is a good boy - but he needs someone with patience and love to realize what he needs. Structure and a schedule will help him & a new family adjust. He needs a person who will know that this is not the dog who will go out and 'play' with you. But if you want a buddy to watch TV with.. This is your guy. HE NEEDS SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS HE IS WORK! He is not the casual dog who will be active. Couch Potato! ** NO SMALL CHILDREN / ** SPECIAL DOG - Please inquire about how you can make his life better! Could possibly need anti-anxiety medication for a month or two to help him get incorporated into his new family. Up to date on Shots / Neutered |

Personality: Quiet, Sweet and lovely girl. Walks great on a leash - This girl has a deformity that left her with only part of a back leg. She has lived a hard life and now its her time to have a perfect family, welcome her into their home. SHE IS A GREAT DOG Note: she is missing the bottom part of one leg, or paw, she gets around great - She doesn't even realize that she has a deformity. She has the sweetest personality EVER! she is quite small - HER Pictures do not do her justice as she has the sweetest face. 100% HouseTrained / Up-To-Date on Shots

Age: 2 years old Breed: Boxer Description: Brindle (Natural Tail & Ears) 100% Housebroken - Non Desctructive. Walks great on a leash. Prefers to be the only pet in a household. He is so wonderful with all people, he has the cutest little wiggle butt when he is excited to see you. He acts just like a little puppy when he is playing. It really is adorable!!! He does NOT need to be crated and is wonderful in a home. We hope that someone falls in love with this great guy and takes him home to love him forever!!! We recommend that Bravo go to home that does not have any other pets. Neutered. Up to date on shots.

He had sustained an injury to one of his paws (most likely from a bear trap) which was not treated at the time, so his paw is slightly deformed. He walks with a permanent limp - but does not appear to be in pain.
