Adoption Process:  ALL potential parents MUST...

  1. BE 21 Years or older
  2. Fill out an adoption application (completely) Application is located on this website - Tab marked "Adoption - Process & Application" > Download (print), fill in by hand OR AUTO Fill the PDF, then return to us via email or at one of our adoption events. NOTE: If selected to adopt, you will be required to bring 2 copies of this application with you to the appointment.
  3. Have a vet reference check (only if you currently own a pet or have had one in the last 5 years)
  4. Have a home inspection (dog adoptions only) You must live in Illinois, Wisconsin or NW Indiana This is to make sure your environment is what is best for the pet) DUE TO COVID-19 ​HOME CHECKS WILL NOW CONSIST OF BEING: PHOTOS OF YARD AND LIVING SPACE, BEING EMAILED TO US

Sponsorship pays for a Foster Pets new vaccines.

​* PUPPIES (under the age of 16 weeks) will NOT be potty trained
* PUPPIES are good with children and other pets
* ​We cannot tell you How Big a Puppy will get or who their parents were
          It is an "old wives' tale" that you can tell by the size of their paws
